Privacy policy

Last updated: 27 April 2026

Statute is published by Tom Halls, a sole trader registered in the United Kingdom.

What we collect

We do not collect any personal data. Statute stores all your invoices, business profile, and settings on your device. We do not have a server, account system, login, or backup service.

Network

The only network request Statute makes is to the Bank of England's public Statistical Database, to fetch the latest base rate. This request contains no personal data and no identifiers; it is functionally identical to loading a public web page. The response is cached on your device for up to 24 hours.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are processed by Apple via the App Store. Apple's privacy policy applies to that transaction. We receive only aggregate, anonymous sales data from Apple — no personal information about you.

Notifications

Local notifications fire from your device based on the due dates of invoices you have entered. They are not sent over a network and we do not see them.

No tracking

Statute contains no analytics SDKs, no tracking pixels, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party telemetry of any kind.
